Steve is practically a Phoenix native. He moved to Phoenix when he was just 3 years
old. His fascination with cars began at
an early age as he watched his father rebuild motors, attend Universal
Technical Institute to further his own education, and rebuilt several cars
together. Steve attended Shadow Mountain
High School and graduated with honors in 2002.
He furthered his education at Universal Technical Institute and again
graduated with top honors and immediately attended Volvo Safe School. He was mentored in California by an amazing
master technician for one year, and eventually decided to come “home” to
Phoenix to begin his career. Steve worked at several Volvo dealerships for 10
years as a technician and decided that he would like an opportunity at “service
writing”. He is unique in that he has hands
on experience with both ends of the service and repair spectrum. Steve and his family purchased Swedish Auto
Werks at the end of 2012 and have not looked back since. Steve recognized the potential with the
existing shop and promised that he would service the existing customers with
honesty and integrity. Steve, with the
help of seasoned Volvo and Saab technicians, has been able to earn the trust of
those customers, along with many new ones.
Steve hopes to bring his son into the business one day, but right now
he's too busy being eight!
